Maria Cappuccio-Spada is the owner and head stylist at Bellissima Salon. Maria graduated from Hair's How School of Beauty in Wakefield, MA. Maria immediately started working as an assistant at Salon Monet in Wakefield where she learned the key to sucess: client service and appreciation of your surroundings. After graduation, Maria worked for Dellaria Salon in Peabody, MA. At Dellaria, Maria received certifications in John Dellaria's pyrametrics hair cuts, certifications in Framesi Hair Color and products, certifications in advanced coloring, foils, blowdrying, permanents, and updo/formal wear. Maria was constantly exposed to new products through product knowledge classes. Maria also took advantage of the continuous cutting/coloring trainings that were offered that helped her keep up with the latest trends.
In 2006, Maria was chosen to participate in a complete make-over contest by Framesi. Here she showed her talent when she transformed a model with dark, straight hair desiring to look like a fun, voluminous blonde. She came in the top three.
In 2008, Maria completed training and cerfification in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy by Coppola.
Maria's love for the hair industry led her to open Bellissima Salon on March, 13, 2010. This marked an important stepping stone in her career. Here Maria would not only continue to be a hairstylist, but would take on a leadership role to run a successful salon. One of the most gratifying moments in Maria's career was when her loyal clients followed her from cities in the North Shore, such as Hamilton, Danvers, Manchester by the Sea, etc....to Revere!
Maria's expertise is in color, foils and cutting.
Maria continues to attend hair shows and frequents many cutting and color classes. In the end, it's all about the care of the hair.
